Tattoos restoration
Tattoo restoration is work on a tattoo you already have. The goal is to bring an older or damaged piece back to how it was meant to look.
Over time, ink can fade, blur or lose its lines. Sun, skin changes and plain age all play a part. Restoration can mean refreshing color, sharpening lines or repairing a spot that healed badly. What it takes depends on the piece, so we look at it in person before we say anything.
Signs you may need it.
- The colors look dull or washed out compared to when you got it.
- Lines have gone soft, patchy or blurry.
- Part of the design healed unevenly and left gaps.
- An older piece has spread or changed shape in the skin.
- You want an old tattoo brought back before you add to it or cover it.

You show us the tattoo, or a clear photo to start. We check the lines, the color and the skin.

Nothing starts until you say yes. You can ask questions as often as you like.

We work on the tattoo with a clean setup, then show you how to look after it while it heals.

Can any old tattoo be restored?
Many can be improved, but it depends on the ink, the skin and how the piece has aged. We look at it in person and tell you honestly what is possible.
Is restoring a tattoo the same as covering it?
No. Restoration works with the design you already have. A cover-up changes the design. If a piece is too far gone, we will say so and talk through the options.
Does it heal like a new tattoo?
The skin is worked again, so it needs care again. We go through aftercare with you at the end of the job.
What should I bring?
The tattoo itself is the best thing to show us. If you have an original drawing or older photos of it, bring those too.
